Structure Meeting Minutes with Chapters – Chapter Layout in iPROT

iPROT offers the option of chapter structuring for organizing and structuring meeting minutes and discussion notes.

As soon as a new meeting item is created via the input field New topic in the second column, it can be assigned to a chapter (e.g., Planning). These chapters are then also displayed as headings on the PDF printout of the meeting minutes, allowing for a clear organization of longer meeting minutes by individual topic areas.

New chapters can be created in the settings via the menu command Chapter. In this settings dialog, the order of chapters can also be easily changed using drag & drop, a second chapter level can be added, or existing chapters can be deleted or renamed.

Project-specific assignment of chapters or the creation of project-individual chapters is also possible. To do this, simply select the desired project from the selection field to the right of the chapter list as a template and copy it to the current project by clicking the Apply button. Of course, the resulting chapter list can be modified and supplemented as desired. Unnecessary chapters can be easily deleted by clicking the Delete button right next to the chapter name.

iPROT is delivered with a so-called “Standard Project” as a copy template for other projects. This “Standard Project” already contains several chapters that can be supplemented with additional chapters or whose order can be changed as desired.

In any case, it should be noted that changes to chapter names or the order of chapters only affect the respective project and have no impact on other projects. Even if these changes are made in the “Standard Project,” all other projects and their chapter structures remain unaffected.
