Create Test Report – Document Project Review Results

iPROT can be used in many different ways. The documentation of entire projects is the main focus. In addition to meeting minutes for project meetings, steering committee meetings, or client discussions, iPROT can also be used to document other project content such as invoice approvals, project status, contract awards, and inspections. Reason enough for us to take a closer look at these ideas for minutes in a blog series. Following the previously published parts Drawing Distribution with iPROT, Invoice Verification & Approval with iPROT, Project Status Report & Project Manual with iPROT, and Contract Award Minutes with iPROT, we continue the series with the documentation of test results: Reviewing and documenting interim project results is also part of project management tasks. In construction projects, these include, for example, the results of individual planning phases, such as preliminary or draft planning. These inspections can be optimally documented with iPROT.

The best approach is to create a meeting type called “Test Report” in which you can then document the respective test results. Using the integrated distribution function in iPROT, the test report can then be sent quickly and easily to the previously defined mailing list. Alternatively, only the PDF version of the test report can be downloaded using the corresponding menu command. The possible applications of iPROT are diverse and go far beyond simply recording meeting content. Of course, the ideas for minutes presented here are not exhaustive, and therefore we will be happy to present additional options for project documentation with iPROT at appropriate opportunities, continuing and expanding this blog series…
