Before the year comes to a close, we have introduced several improvements to iPROT, bundled into the new iPROT version 3.2. This new iPROT version 3.2 has been online since yesterday and includes a special new feature: the ability to export a list of participants in CSV format.
With this new function, all persons in a project can be summarized and exported into a CSV list with a single click. To do this, simply click on the new entry List of participants (CSV) in the menu at the top right. You can then open this CSV file in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel and use it to create, for example, a directory of project participants according to your individual requirements.
The CSV list of participants includes all persons within the selected or currently active project
- ever authored any set of minutes (regardless of meeting type), or
- ever been listed on a mailing list for a set of minutes (including as a participant), or
- ever been assigned responsibility for a task.
Adjustments were also made under the hood, and a few minor bugs were eliminated.
One final tip: Should any display issues occur with the new version 3.2, or if controls and buttons are missing, simply reload iPROT in your browser while holding down the Shift key.
