The new iPROT version 5.1 is now live! New features include the ability to send meeting minutes as a PDF attachment via email, as well as options to show or hide archived projects, functions, and roles. We’ve also added a few handy little features, made some under-the-hood tweaks, improved iPROT here and there, and fixed a few minor bugs.
Send the minutes as a PDF file
To send a report directly as a PDF file when sending from iPROT, enable the new option ” PDF as Attachment” in the project settings under ” PDF Design & Delivery ” in the ” Email & Delivery ” section. This will cause meeting minutes for the relevant project to be sent as attached PDF files with the delivery email, instead of a download link.

You can also send the file as a PDF to one or more users in the Users & People dialog box. Regardless of the project settings, these users will then always receive the meeting minutes from iPROT as PDF files rather than as a download link.
View Archived Projects and Roles & Functions
In the system settings, under the Projects section, you can now display archived projects below the project list by enabling the “Show Archived Projects ” option. Functions and roles that are no longer needed can now also be archived and will no longer be available for selection in the Users & People dialog. Below the list—just as with projects—you can use the “Show Archived Functions” option to display these functions and, if desired, reactivate them immediately.

NOTE: These features are available only to users who have administrative privileges in the iPROT account.
Practical little things
In addition, we have added a new feature that saves a version of the completed report as a PDF file for documentation purposes when the meeting is finalized. You can access this PDF file at any time via the context menu for the respective report by clicking “Download Report (PDF).” Project-specific settings—that is, settings defined for the respective project that differ from the system settings—are now marked with a note labeled “Project .” Right next to this note, you can reset these project-specific settings to the system settings by clicking the Reset icon.
By the way, it’s also worth taking a look at our website at https://www.iprot.info. There, in addition to all the information about iPROT and a quick start guide, you’ll also find valuable tips and tricks in our blog, the iPROT user manual, and our video tutorials.
One final tip: If you encounter display issues with the new version 5.1, or if controls and buttons are missing, simply reload iPROT in your browser while holding down the Shift key.
