As of today, the new iPROT version 4.9 is live! It now includes a new function for exporting minutes in XLSX format. Additionally, we have made improvements under the hood, enhanced iPROT in various places, and ironed out a few minor bugs.
Export minutes
iPROT features an even more powerful export function. In addition to the existing options for exporting contact lists and tasks, you can now also export entire minutes as XLSX files and further process them with other applications. Furthermore, we have consolidated all export functions into a single, clear export menu.
With the new export function for minutes, the currently active minutes or search results are exported in XLSX format and can be further processed as a table. To do this, simply click on the Minutes (XLSX) entry in the Export menu at the top right. You can then open this XLSX file in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel and process it according to your individual requirements.
PDF minutes without continuous numbering
In the system settings for minute types, you can now decide whether the continuous numbering of the minutes should be displayed on the PDF minutes or not. If you do not wish to have continuous numbering, simply slide the new slider under Numbering to the left.
You can of course reverse this at any time by moving the slider back to the right to re-enable numbering.
Practical little things
In addition to the new functions, iPROT version 4.9 also brings a few practical minor improvements. We have implemented improvements to the auto-logout feature to prevent data loss if iPROT is open simultaneously in multiple browser tabs and you were automatically logged out of one of them. Furthermore, individuals can no longer be assigned twice as responsible for a task, and you can now also use emojis in your minutes, for example, in topics or in the text of entries and additions.
Finally, a tip: Should display problems occur with the new version 4.9, or if controls and buttons are missing, simply reload iPROT in the browser while holding down the Shift key.
