iPROT Version 3.5 – Mark Overdue Tasks & Download Attachments

As of today, the new iPROT version 3.5 is online and includes several new features:

Bulk download for attachments

If you attach multiple files as attachments to meeting minutes, you can now download them collectively in a ZIP file. iPROT provides a download link for this ZIP file containing all attachments directly below the attachment directory in the PDF file of your meeting minutes.

Marking overdue tasks

Overdue tasks are tasks that were not completed within the agreed completion deadline. Such overdue tasks are now automatically marked by iPROT:

  • In the software interface, the completion deadline date is displayed in red. Next to it, a note indicates how many days, weeks, or months the respective task is overdue.
  • In the PDF version of the meeting minutes, a note below the completion deadline date indicates how many days, weeks, or months the respective task is overdue.

Creating a project manual with iPROT

A project manual is a compilation of information, standards, and regulations that apply to a specific project.

With iPROT, you have the option to create a project manual for your project. To do this, you must first create new meeting minutes with the meeting type “Project Manual“. iPROT will then automatically recognize that this is not meeting minutes for, for example, a meeting or an invoice approval, and will use a separate print template for generating the PDF file that differs slightly from the others and has been optimized for a project manual.

In addition, we have worked under the hood and eliminated a few minor bugs.

Finally, a tip: Should display issues occur with the new version 3.5, or if controls and buttons are missing, simply reload iPROT in the browser while holding down the Shift key.
