Viewing Minutes in PDF Format

Even while composing a set of minutes, you can use the PDF functions in the menu at the top right to view the current set of minutes – or just a single topic – in print format at any time. The visual layout of the PDF files follows the design of the interface.

Minutes created with iPROT begin with a section on the first page that summarizes the metadata: subject and location of the meeting, time, participants, mailing list, notes, and a preview of upcoming dates.

Within the minutes, new topics are highlighted with a grey background. Entries that have already been completed are displayed in grey text. Following the continuous minutes method, each set of minutes includes not only the new topics from the current meeting but also carry-over topics from previous sets of minutes that have not yet been completed or have been modified since the last set of minutes. Modifications include text corrections as well as setting the completed status or entering a date (Due Date, Completed On).

Images and documents attached to entries are displayed in the minutes as thumbnails and as links. Clicking a thumbnail or link opens the image at full resolution in a web browser, or starts the download of the attached document. Entries for a topic are displayed in ascending order within the minutes, sorted by the date of the meeting in which the entry was created.
