Data protection has always been and will continue to be a major concern in connection with iPROT and our associated online offerings. Laws, regulations and standards do nothing to change this. This is because we have always processed our customers’ data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions. At first glance, the GDPR will therefore not bring any changes for iPROT users from May 25, 2018. But a lot has happened in the background, so to speak. You may have already noticed that for a few days now, in the latest version 3.2.7 of iPROT, a note on the login screen informs you about our new privacy policy.

This privacy policy explains the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data within our online offer and the associated websites, functions and content as well as external online presences, such as our social media profiles, as provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By continuing to use iPROT, you accept this privacy policy. If you do not wish to do so, please contact us directly at datenschutz (at) iprot (dot) info. New users also agree to our privacy policy when ordering an iPROT account or an iPROT demo account.

We have introduced another small GDPR-compliant feature: a note at the end of the emails generated when sending logs with iPROT. This notice informs the recipients of our customers’ meeting minutes about why and where they receive the log and how they can unsubscribe if necessary.

For this purpose and also for all other inquiries relating to data protection within the meaning of the GDPR, we have set up a separate e-mail address: datenschutz (at) iprot (dot) info. So if you have any questions, requests, suggestions or complaints about data protection, simply send an e-mail to this address and we will be happy to deal with them personally.
