Unfinished (overdue) tasks

A key parameter in project management is the number of tasks that still need to be completed. The iPROT user interface displays this information for the selected project, its protocols and its topics.

Overdue tasks are tasks that have not been completed within the agreed deadline. Such overdue tasks are automatically flagged by iPROT. In iPROT, the date with the completion deadline is displayed in red. The number of days, weeks or months that the task in question is overdue is also noted.

In the PDF version of the log, the number of days, weeks or months that the task in question is overdue is also noted below the date with the completion deadline.

The due date of a task is not calculated relative to the current date, but always to the date of the respective log. So if an entry of the type task is still in the schedule on the date of a log and is therefore not overdue, this task is not marked as overdue in iPROT or in the PDF.
Each log refers to the date of the meeting or inspection, etc. So if you write a new log today and the entry of the task type that would have been due the day before yesterday has not yet been completed, the expired due date is pointed out and this entry is marked as overdue in iPROT and also on the PDF. And if an entry was still in the schedule on the date of the meeting or inspection and therefore also on the date of the minutes, this entry is not marked as overdue.
