The new iPROT version 4.4 is online today! New features include a function for changing the completion deadlines of tasks and files can now finally be attached to entries in logs using drag-and-drop.

Change completion deadlines for tasks

Deadlines by which tasks must be completed can now be changed. Even if the task was created in a log weeks ago but has still not been completed. Simply click on the pencil icon next to the appointment field and select a new appointment for the completion deadline.

It’s hard to imagine that this hasn’t worked with iPROT so far! In any case, this is now history, because with the new version 4.4 we have upgraded this function, which is now a matter of course.

To do this, simply drag a file that you want to attach to an entry in a log into the editor window and drop it there. This file is already prepared for upload as an attachment and will be uploaded to your iPROT database with the entry when you click on the Save button.

We have also improved the standard texts for sending logs in the English version of iPROT, tweaked the user interface and fixed a few minor bugs.

Finally, a tip: If you experience display problems with the new version 4.4, or if controls and buttons are missing, simply reload iPROT in the browser by holding down the Shift key.
